How do I get a Parking Permit?

Parking permits are available and you may park only in areas designated by the type of permit to your car, in a parking deck or in metered spaces.

Most spaces will be marked as "commuter lot" but be sure to check out our parking map before coming to campus!

You'll need an active Montclair State Net ID to register for a parking permit online (credit card).

& click on "Get Permit"

Resident students with 29 credits or less earned, are not permitted to park on campus.

Alternative ways to park on campus are by using The Red Hawk Deck Parking Garage and The NJ Transit Parking Garage. Other locations on campus allow you to use the app- PaybyPhone.
